Motion controls firm is awarded ISO 4001 certification

28 September, 2020

The motion controls manufacturer Elmo Motion Control has been certified to the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems, providing assurance that it complies with regulations and laws relating to environmental protection and emergency preparedness.

The certification confirms Elmo’s ability to manage, monitor, and control its environmental management system performance. As part of that, it recognises that the company incorporates safety and environmental issues in its business management practices and systems, and verifies that, in the event of an emergency, it can act to safeguard people and property and minimise environmental impact.

Additionally, the ISO 14001 certification reflects Elmo’s commitment to continual improvement of its systems and approach to safety and environmental concerns.

“Taking care on our own environment complements how Elmo servo technology contributes to a greener environment for our customers by dramatically minimising heat dissipation, creating negligible EMI, and attenuating mechanical vibrations and instability,” says Elmo CEO Haim Monhait. “With growing environmental awareness and legislation in Israel and worldwide we felt it important to provide customers, partners and employees with the additional confidence that comes with ISO 14001 Certification.”

Elmo Motion Control has more than 30 years of experience, with millions of its servodrives in use globally. The company employs more than 300 staff worldwide.
