Technical Sales Application Engineer

    Due to continued expansion we are seeking highly motivated Technical Sales Application Engineer to join our successful team. The position requires a candidate who can communicate technically and directly with clients, engineers and designers.  Able to discuss technical details regarding servo and linear motor controls and applications is a prerequisite, it is anticipated that the successful applicant will be educated to a minimum level of HNC in an electrical / electronic discipline.  Knowledge of basic mechanical design and principles would also be a distinct advantage.  The role is expected to develop further with client visits in an engineering support role.  Although it is expected and required that the candidate will be conversant with servo and linear motor control and associated software programming, in depth product training will be given.  This will be given in Taiwan during the early stages of employment and will require a stay of approx. 3-4 weeks.  This position will require good interpersonal skills as well as in-depth technical knowledge.  Working within a small team environment you will be capable of understanding clients motion control applications and providing a high level of technical support from specification through to offered solution.
